Narella Terms of Service
Effective date: July 24, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the software and services provided by Narella, Inc. (“Narella”, “we”, “us”), including the Narella desktop application, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Narella is local-first relationship intelligence software. The desktop application processes your connected data sources on your device. Certain features (account sign-in, delivered briefs, notifications) are provided through Narella servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Early access
The Service is currently offered as an invite-only early-access program. Features may change, break, or be discontinued. We may update the application and the Service at any time.
3. Your account
You need an invitation and a supported sign-in identity (currently a Google account) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and sign-in credentials. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Your data
Your data is yours. We claim no ownership over your communications, contacts, or the insights generated from them. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service — for example, to deliver a brief you asked us to deliver. See the Privacy Policy for what reaches our servers.
5. Third-party services
The Service connects to third-party services (such as Google and LinkedIn) on your behalf, under your credentials, on your device. You are responsible for complying with those services’ terms. Narella is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers, and their availability to Narella may change.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service to violate law or others’ rights; attempt to access other users’ data; reverse engineer non-open-source components except as permitted by law; resell the Service; or use the Service to send spam or unlawful communications.
7. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the desktop application for your own use. Open-source components included in the Service are licensed under their respective licenses.
8. Fees
The early-access program is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future; paid features will be clearly identified, and payment terms will be presented before any charge.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access (including application sign-in) for violation of these Terms or where required to protect the Service or other users. Data stored locally on your device remains on your device; server-side data handling on termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. INSIGHTS PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE ARE GENERATED AUTOMATICALLY AND MAY BE INACCURATE; USE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT BEFORE ACTING ON THEM.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NARELLA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post updates here and note the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
